Smart Investors are Betting on Utah Real Estate!!!

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past few years, it’s very clear that the population in Utah is growing by leaps and bounds. All you have to do is drive down good old I-15 to see the massive investment corporations are making in the area. Utah County has actually taken on the very flattering nickname of Silicon Slopes to many in the tech industry. As we all know this is piggy backing off of Silicon Valley, located in the southern San Fransisco Bay Area of California.

The big question people might ask is why is there such an influx in the Utah County population. I think the easy answer is high quality jobs and low living costs. When you look at the median price for a house in Silicon Valley, it rings up at a hefty $1,354,100 according to Google. However, when you compare that to Utah County’s very reasonable median price of $343,700, it’s clear why people might want to make a move to the Beehive State.

People in the investment world aren’t sleeping on Utah. They see it as a clean, beautiful area that has a huge, educated workforce. They see a state who’s population has a very high quality of life, and most importantly a place where they might be able to make some serious bucks.

Forbes published it’s 2018 real estate investment analysis. Guess what state had 4 cities in the top 10. You guessed it right, Utah. As you can read, Provo/Orem was recognized as the SECOND BEST REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT in the whole country. Ogden/Clearfield finished in the VERY RESPECTABLE 8TH POSITION. The thing that makes investors lick their chops is none of these Utah cities placed in the top 20 in 2017. That means this impressive wave of increased property values might just be starting to break.

This is great news for people who have property in Utah, and it could be a very positive sign for people thinking to buy. If you are on the fence about pulling the trigger on making a purchase, it might be smart to make a move. Now that Utah is getting a ton of national attention, it doesn’t look like the market is going to slow down any time soon.
